Our Story

Formed in 1993, our AFCI-affiliated film commission represents a twelve-county region in the northern foothills of North Carolina including and surrounding the three major cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. We are here to assist your production with all your filming needs, from the initial scout all the way through principal photography. Among the many benefits and services we offer are:

KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF familiar with a production’s day-to-day needs. Our fast and professional response will help insure that your shoot runs smoothly from beginning to end and can also help you cut through red-tape and find solutions for inevitable last minute changes.

EXTENSIVE PHOTOGRAPHIC LIBRARY of over 2,500 location photos which can be sent via an email link or you can compile your own collection of locations using our online database.

LOCATION SCOUTING to help find the locations you needed yesterday. Receive organized collections of panoramas, reverses and detailed information immediately. We’ll even break down your script by locations—free of charge!

PRE-PRODUCTION AND PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE from finding affordable office and housing accommodations to supplying information on locations, stages, crew and production support services. Permits are not needed for most filming locations, but our office acts as the liaison with local governments to help you with special location requests.
