Formed in 1993, our AFCI-affiliated film commission represents a twelve-county region in the northern foothills of North Carolina. LOCATION SCOUTING to help find the locations you needed yesterday. Receive organized folders of panoramas, reverses and detail information immediately via email or overnight shipping. We’ll even break down your script by locations—free of charge!

PRE-PRODUCTION AND PRODUCTION ASSISTANCE from finding affordable office and housing accommodations to supplying information on locations, stages, crew and production support services. Permits are not needed for most filming locations, but our office acts as the liaison with local governments to help you with special location requests.
